I did a little bit of sketching while in Florida. It was hard to find time so I didn't get very much. I figured I would have fun and combine some sketches to re-create a beach scene!

Here is where the layout is at for my Action Analysis. There will most likely be a sepia tone over the entire thing by the end... wish I had thought of that earlier. Overall I like the way it turned out. The perspective is a bit wacky but so it the character so I think it will all work together in the end.

Had some fun with colour.... maybe too much fun! This eye-burning masterpiece was done in guache. Not my most comfortable medium, could use more work, but overall I'm happy with how it turned out!

all right so I haven't posted in a while, a sign of the times. 3rd year is a lot of work and it has been a struggle in staying on top of the blog to stay the least. In saying that, I figured I would try and unload a couple projects I have worked on the past while. starting with the earliest.

This is just a cool idea I had, figured I would throw it down on photoshop as quickly as I could. I think it may have the potential to turn into a more refined drawing when I have the time!

So this is the Leica Reel I did at the end of last semester. We had to think of a story based on "I want that" or "Help me." From that, we made beat boards, turned our beat boards into a full storyboard, pitched to the class, had them torn apart, fixed them, pitched them again, chose music, and this is the final result. I learned that for future projects, I'm going to put a lot more effort into the initial brainstorming of story ideas. Wasn't very happy with the story I chose...but I thought it came together pretty well. enjoy!

A Dungeon with hooks

This is probably the darkest thing I have ever painted or drawn. It was a project for Sheridan in which we had to create a layout from a given list of ideas. Dungeon was one of them, so this is what I came up with. I had the flu and was cooped up in my room for about a week...I think the painting reflects this pretty darn well. Below is the original done with guache paint. Above is after I tinkered with it on adobe photoshop.

I'll try and put more up before month's end!
